Family Resources

Many families may have parents/caregivers that are laid off and may have lost their health insurance.  Here is information we can share with them, to help them get health care coverage for their children.

  • Health Department of Northwest Michigan: The School-based health programs through the Health Department of Northwest Michigan support students, their families, and school staff to promote health and wellness in the school environment.  Availability of services may vary between school buildings and are based on program model. To learn more about these programs, go to: https://nwhealth.org/school-health/

  • Free or low cost health coverage for children under the age of 19 or pregnant women of any age. Go to MIBridges or call the MI Child and Healthy Kids number: 888.988.6300.
