Miss Distler is in her 11th year teaching 3rd grade in Northern Michigan. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. While pursuing this degree, she minored in mathematics and social science with an endorsement in middle school. In the spring of 2020, she earned her Masters of Arts in Teaching and Curriculum from Michigan State University.

She loves traveling, hiking, snowshoeing, and football.
